Riverside is one of the Dayton area’s youngest cities — it wasn’t incorporated until January 1, 1995, when the Village of Riverside and Mad River Township merged. Today it is one of Montgomery County’s larger suburbs, home to roughly 25,000 people just east of Dayton. A young city does not mean young houses, though.
